Hi all! First and foremost, if I end up buying anything from you, payment will be immediate, and I am happy to be flexible with the form of payment desired, including cash. No payment plans will be needed, and there is NO collection too big or too small when it comes to something of interest. I have numerous references of satisfied customers I’ve bought from over the years; many of these sources are considered friends of mine to this day.
To summarize, here are some descriptions of the types of items, especially comics, that I’m looking for:
When it comes to comics, these would generally be comics dating from circa 1930s to the 1970s. Comics like these will have original cover prices of 10 cents to 35 cents. Well-known titles would include Batman, Superman, Amazing Spider-Man, Daredevil, Fantastic Four, and X-Men.
Back in the 1950s, various comic book companies came out with horror-related comics that appealed to an audience with an appetite for scary covers, bondage, severed heads, etc. Those are especially of interest to collectors today, and I would be happy to discuss with you if you happen to have some of them.
There are a plethora of other titles and genres, so feel free to let me know if you have something that is not mentioned here.
Vintage sports cards (especially baseball) from Pre-1900 to the 1980s. Baseball cards used to come in packs of cigarettes back in the early 1900s as a form of promoting the sport of baseball. The most common name of cards from that period is called T-206s.
From the 1930s to the 1960s, baseball cards began to appear in sealed wax packs with gum inside. Well-known brands of these cards would be Goudey, Bowman, and Topps. Sealed packs and boxes from these periods are rare and highly desirable for true collectors.
When it comes to baseball, names of significance would include Mickey Mantle, Ted Williams, Joe DiMaggio, Stan Musial, Jackie Robinson, Babe Ruth, Ernie Banks, Honus Wagner, and others.
Again, when it comes to sports, please let me know if you happen to possess something that is not mentioned here.
When it comes to other collectibles of interest, pretty much anything of pop culture significance will be considered. Vintage toys from the 1930s to 1980s (Tin wind-up motorcycle toys, space toys, and even Star Wars).
Vintage advertising signs, such as Coca-Cola, etc., are of interest to collectors. Movie posters from the 1930s to the 1980s can also be quite desirable.
