My interest in vintage comics started as a child. My mother collected DC superhero titles from the 1960s, specially Superman, Superboy, Superman’s Girlfriend Lois Lane, and Superman’s Pal Jimmy Olsen. I was fortunate enough to be gifted her childhood box of comics when I was a youngster as well! The artwork from the time period was really captivating to me. Who would’ve known that my passion would lead to something lifelong for me, and the rest is history!

Fast forward, I have been involved in the comics & collectibles industry for over 15 years! From the vast amount of collections I have acquired over the years, I’ve been able to curate a plethora of quality comics and other related pop culture collectibles in my permanent collection.

I have been fortunate to have acquired some well-respected collections in my collecting & buying career. Some of those well-respected estates include Chris Miller, who was a major contributor to National Lampoon, as well as Jeph Loeb, who co-created some well-respected DC storylines of both Batman and Superman!

I have also been instrumental in bringing some really choice examples of high-quality material into the public market. Several years ago, I had encountered a gentleman from the Midwest who had acquired an issue of Superman #1 from 1939 back in the 1970s for $1,000. While he was looking to leave a nest egg for his family, he was looking into the possibilities of selling it. Due to my connections and business acumen, I was able to work some magic for this individual, realizing over $2.6 million via a public sale. Let’s just say he was very happy with the return on his investment, in addition to his family, for the generous nest egg.
